Ella joined The Education People in 2025 as an Employment Support Officer, supporting delivery of the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) model. Through SLA, LSE and Connect to Work, she helps disabled or disadvantaged people overcome barriers and move towards meaningful and sustainable employment.

Before joining the Supported Employment Service, Ella gained diverse experience across several sectors. She worked for a men’s mental health charity as a Family Separation Mentor and supported students with special and additional educational needs as the SLCN Lead in a secondary school. This breadth of experience has strengthened her interpersonal skills and her ability to provide empathetic, practical support tailored to each individual’s needs.

Now she works closely with individuals with disabilities to help them access work, offering tailored support at every stage of their journey. This includes developing employability skills such as CV writing, job searching, completing applications and preparing for interviews. Ella also provides in-work support to ensure long-term success, helping each individual to feel confident and settled in a role that suits their strengths and aspirations. Her person-centred approach focuses on empowerment and achieving sustainable employment outcomes.
