With over 17 years of experience in Supported Employment, Michelle has dedicated her career to helping people with disabilities and other barriers move into meaningful work, training or volunteering opportunities. She provides one-to-one, tailored support designed to build confidence, develop employability skills and achieve sustainable outcomes for each client she works with.
Michelle has delivered on a wide range of supported employment contracts funded by both the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and local government. Her extensive experience includes collaborating with internal teams, external agencies and employers to showcase the Supported Employment Service and identify inclusive opportunities in the workplace.
In recognition of her commitment and impact, Michelle was awarded Practitioner of the Year in 2011 by the British Association for Supported Employment (BASE), in the category of Supporting People with a Physical or Sensory Disability.
