Tim Spoerry

Tim is a key member of The Education People, bringing extensive classroom experience, strategic insight, and a passion for developing others to their role. With a background rooted in secondary education, he is dedicated to supporting teachers and leaders at every stage of their career.

Before joining The Education People, Tim spent 12 years as a secondary school teacher, specialising in Business Studies while also teaching I.T., Maths and P.E. in schools in areas of deprivation. In his final school role, Tim led on improving teaching and learning, designing and embedding a whole-school CPD programme and building a team of coaches to raise the quality of teaching across the school.

Tim now works closely with Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and their mentors, ensuring they are supported to successfully complete their induction. He delivers the Early Career Teacher Programme (formerly the Early Career Framework) and leads on National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) for experienced teachers and school leaders. Tim can also provide tailored coaching and support to ECTs, established teachers, and middle and senior leaders, helping them to build confidence, develop their practice, and thrive in their roles.

Passionate about empowering educators, Tim takes pride in helping teachers and leaders realise their potential, strengthen their impact, and deliver the highest quality learning experiences for their pupils.
