The Education People are helping to promote the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme to families across Kent on behalf of Kent County Council.

Eligible families in Gravesend can access free holiday clubs offering fun activities and healthy meals for children during school holidays.

Please note: This page is for information only - bookings must be made via the link provided in your HAF e-voucher.

Future Survival

Dates available:

  • Primary session - 23, 24, 25 & 31 July and 1, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 26, 28 & 29 August 2025.
  • Secondary session - 24, 25, 30 & 31 July and 1, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 & 29 August 2025.

  • Secondary session - 3pm to 7pm (30 July, 13 & 27 Aug 11am to 3pm).

Our HAF program both exciting and enriching, with a wide range of activities designed to challenge and inspire. They can take part in high-tech laser tag missions, competitive gaming adventures, and team sports, promoting teamwork, coordination, and healthy competition.
 
For those who enjoy creative or quieter pursuits, there are craft projects tailored to teens, a reading corner for relaxation, board games for social fun, and even LEGO-building for imaginative construction. Students can also explore STEM-based challenges and get hands-on with coding sessions, encouraging problem-solving and digital literacy in a dynamic, engaging setting.
 
Our HAF program, which includes balanced and nutritious meals, is free of charge and aims to provide an inclusive and enriching experience for students who receive free school meals. It's a fantastic opportunity for schools to ensure that all their students have access to an enjoyable and memorable half-term break, regardless of their economic circumstances.

DDivine training ltd

Football camp:
A day full of footballing activities, run by ex professional players and PE teachers. The days will vary with the start of the week being focussed around fun team building games and challenges. With the second two days more about football matches, and competing for trophies at the presentation on Friday. (Everyone leaves on the Friday with a medal).

Multi activity camp:
Attendees will have the choice to take part in a range of different activities each day on either the Playground, sports hall or Classroom. All led by our experienced team! Sports- Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Badminton Other - Arts and Crafts, Film club, Gaming (Tech-zone will be visiting to give children a chance to experience a range of different games). There will also be plenty of opportunity for structured free time!

Sports Activities
Multi-Sports Sessions:

  • Activities: Football, basketball, cricket, and dodgeball.
    Add-On: Mini-tournaments with simple rewards to boost engagement.
  • Summer-Themed Obstacle Course: Incorporate hopping (like a bunny), egg-and-spoon races, and relay challenges. Focus on teamwork and fun.

Fitness & Dance Workshops:

  • Fun Zumba or hip-hop dance sessions.
  • Stretching and mindfulness cool-downs.
  • Basic techniques focusing on discipline and self-confidence. Can include parent-child paired sessions for engagement.
  • Parachute Games for Younger Kids:
  • Activities like “Mushroom” and “Cat and Mouse” to build teamwork.

Arts & Crafts Activities

  • Summer Egg Decorating: Paint and embed with a mix of traditional and modern styles. Option to include a mini-competition for the most creative design.
  • DIY Sports Merchandise: Design team jerseys, headbands, or wristbands using fabric paint and markers. Promotes creativity and a sense of belonging.
  • Nature Art: Spring Collages: Collect leaves, flowers, and twigs to create nature-inspired art. Encourages outdoor exploration and creativity.
  • Mask Making: Create animal or superhero masks with a focus on Easter and spring themes. Great for role-playing and storytelling later.
  • Recycled Art Challenge: Use everyday materials to build models or sculptures. Emphasises sustainability and creativity.

Our fun-packed holiday playscheme runs for children aged 5-12 years and includes physical and wellbeing activities, team games, nutritional advice, arts and crafts, enrichment activities and swimming (for 8+).

This also includes one free hot meal per child every day.

Please be aware that we run morning sessions (8.30am to 1pm) and afternoon sessions (12 midday to 4.30pm), so please be sure to select the correct time you would like.

Legends Learning Centre

Dates available:

  • 28 July to 21 August 2025 (Monday to Thursday).

This summer at Legends Learning Centre, we aim to offer a diverse range of activities, including creative arts (painting and sculpture), sports, and skill-building workshops. We have a weekly trip planned for our participants every Thursday to multiple hotspots like the cinema, arcade, golf, laser tag, indoor rock climbing, swimming, and so on (terms and conditions to qualify for trips apply). Children aged 8-16 will enjoy creating music and recording it, DJing, dance, drama, football, tennis, badminton, basketball, cricket, guitar, cooking classes, and technology sessions like coding.

We also have a variety of tournaments on offer like: Football Tournament, Basketball Tournament, Netball Tournament, Archery, TikTok Dancing Competition, PlayStation 5 Tournament, Rap Battles, Recording Booths, and Painting Exhibition.

Medals, certificates, etc to be won by winning team/individual. Our programmes are designed to inspire creativity, promote fitness, and foster lifelong learning.
