The Education People are helping to promote the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme to families across Kent on behalf of Kent County Council.

Eligible families in Maidstone can access free holiday clubs offering fun activities and healthy meals for children during school holidays.

Football Fun Factory (Community 037) Ltd

DDivine training ltd

Football camp:

A day full of footballing activities, run by ex professional players and PE teachers. The days will vary with the start of the week being focussed around fun team building games and challenges. With the second two days more about football matches, and competing for trophies at the presentation on Friday. (Everyone leaves on the Friday with a medal).

Multi activity camp:

Attendees will have the choice to take part in a range of different activities each day on either the Playground, sports hall or Classroom. All led by our experienced team!

Sports - Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Badminton

Other - Arts and Crafts, Film club, Gaming (Tech-zone will be visiting to give children a chance to experience a range of different games).

There will also be plenty of opportunity for structured free time!

Junior Adventures Group

At Junior Adventures Group, we deliver fun-filled, inclusive holiday programs rooted in our Whole of Child approach, designed to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Our daily sessions blend structured, adult-led activities with free-flow play and include:

  • super sports (60+ mins of physical activity daily)
  • brain boosters (puzzles, codebreaking)
  • wellbeing warriors (yoga, mindfulness)
  • creative inventors (arts & crafts)
  • global kids (life skills, cooking, science)
  • power teams (team games).

We operate across 35+ boroughs and have 30+ years’ experience delivering high-quality wraparound care and HAF provision. Our team is trained in consistent behaviour strategies, ensuring an inclusive, safe space for all.

Physical activity:
We offer structured sessions such as football, dodgeball, tennis, basketball, and climbing (site-dependent), alongside wellbeing and mindfulness activities to encourage both body and mind development. Activities meet daily movement guidelines and reduce sedentary time.

Enrichment:
We partner with specialist providers for engaging workshops like Nerf battles, silent discos, Zoo Lab animal encounters, Creation Station crafts, financial literacy games, and our popular Friday JAG Games. Our enrichment is seasonally tailored to inspire curiosity and creativity.

Food offer:
Our food program includes interactive, educational experiences like cultural cuisine days and food science experiments. We work with registered catering partners who follow strict allergy protocols, including Natasha’s Law and School Food Standards. All meals are inclusive and served without distinction between funded and paid children to avoid stigma. Dietary needs are collected at booking and reviewed daily by staff.

Swale Community Leisure

Our fun-packed holiday playscheme runs for children aged 5 to 12 years and includes physical and wellbeing activities, team games, nutritional advice, arts and crafts, enrichment activities and swimming (for 8+).

This also includes one free hot meal per child every day.

Please be aware that we run morning sessions (8.30am to 1pm) and afternoon sessions (12 midday to 4.30pm), so please be sure to select the correct time you would like.
