HAF providers - Tonbridge and Malling

The Education People are helping to promote the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme to families across Kent on behalf of Kent County Council.

Eligible families in Tonbridge and Malling can access free holiday clubs offering fun activities and healthy meals for children during school holidays.

Snodland CEP School

Dates available:

  • 29 July to 1 August 2025
  • 12 August to 15 August 2025
  • 26 August to 29 August 2025.

Staff at Snodland CEP School provide HAF club for pupils at Snodland CEP School. We all know the children and families very well. We have access to the whole school and all school facilities, resources and equipment including forest school. We also have a football arena and access to bikes. The children have a variety of activities to do, we plan each day as a specific topic, we have lots of outdoor time too. All children are provided with fruit snacks and a hot meal each day. Children need to bring water bottle and clothes, shoes for the weather and activities. We open HAF to many of our pupils with additional needs and again know these children really well so we are able to meet their individual needs.

Olympia Boxing

We provide a variety of sports, arts and crafts. We specialise in non contact boxing so this is always a great addition to our provision.

At Sports Connect we are delighted to run the Holiday Activity and Food programme during every major school holidays in partnership with KCC, The Education People and Kent Children and Young People organisations.

Our focus is on sport, physical activity, and health sessions and these are held at three Sports Connect sites, located in Aylesford, Sittingbourne & Margate. We have a timetable that encompasses some structured activities to aid development of learning the skills associated with the different activities as well as free time to allow children to explore their imagination and play. Alongside our sport and physical activity offer we also provide opportunities for arts and crafts which gives the children an opportunity to learn new skills. This element may be carried out indoors or outdoors depending on the weather and activity.

Premier Education

Our Holiday Camps are designed to help your kids get active, introduce them to new and exciting activities, and create a fun-filled experience they will remember forever. A bucket load of fun activities, every school holiday. With great sports and games to enjoy, we have plenty for your children to get stuck into in the school break. Sports include football, dodgeball, athletics and more. SEND - Level 1.

SportsCool Maidstone – HAF Provision Overview

At SportsCool Maidstone, we deliver exciting, engaging, and inclusive HAF holiday clubs designed to keep children active, inspired, and well-nourished throughout the school holidays. Our programme is led by fully qualified, DBS-checked coaches and support staff with extensive experience working with children across a range of ages and abilities.

Activities Offered:
Children take part in a diverse timetable of fun and enriching activities including glow-in-the-dark dodgeball, football, tennis, netball, archery, laser tag, axe throwing (safe, foam-based), tri-golf, team games, creative challenges, and much more. Every day is different, encouraging physical activity, teamwork, and confidence-building.

Food provided:
We provide a healthy, balanced lunch each day as well as nutritious snacks. Meals cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and allergies, with vegetarian, vegan, and halal options available.

What children need to bring:

  • refillable water bottle
  • comfortable sports clothing and trainers
  • weather-appropriate outerwear (eg, coat or sunhat)
  • any personal medication (eg, asthma inhaler) clearly labelled.

What makes our programme unique:
We specialise in delivering alternative sports that many children may not have experienced before, helping to broaden horizons and spark new interests. Our sessions are structured to develop skills, boost confidence, and support mental wellbeing in a fun, supportive environment. We also integrate wellbeing breaks and positive mindset activities throughout the day.
