Prime Importance of Personal, Social and Emotional Development E-learning

This E-learning course will support your understanding of personal, social and emotional development for children aged 0–5.

It will provide opportunities to reflect on how relationships, emotional wellbeing and social interactions shape early development. You will explore the significance of creating nurturing environments and consider how to plan effectively to support children’s personal, social and emotional growth in early years settings.

Please note, this course is only applicable nurseries, settings and childminders in Kent.

This is the third module in the Prime Importance E-learning series, you may also want to complete the first and second courses in this series:

  • Increase your knowledge and understanding of personal, social and emotional development, and gain an insight into the interconnectivity between early brain development and children's development.
  • Understand the different aspects of personal, social & emotional development and how these are closely linked.
