Budget Setting - Kent Maintained Schools

Brief overview

Each year Kent Maintained Schools are required to set a 3 year budget plan.  The first part of the day will be about the information that needs to be gathered to start the preparation of the budget setting.  Then how to use the Budget Planning Software (BPS) to set your 3 year plan.  There is then the opportunity for the delegates to start to set their own school budgets with facilitators available to help with any queries. (Please note there will be insufficient time to complete a full 3 Year Plan on the day).

Please Note:

• Delegates are required to bring along their own laptop and power pack.
• Logon details must be available on the day to log in to your computer as well as BPS.
• The BPS will be web based therefore access to the internet will be required. Please note the venue will have wireless internet in the room. Without internet access you will not be able to access your school’s BPS.
• Candidates should bring a memory stick with them if they do not wish to bring hard copies.
