The Kent County Council Financial Control No. 1 states that ‘Schools may not go overdrawn’. Therefore, there may be occasions when monitoring of cashflow will be required, to ensure there is sufficient funds in the bank account to meet liabilities, and avoid going into an overdrawn position.
The session is aimed at school-based finance staff who would like to learn how to use a cash flow statement to better understand/highlight, if there may be an issue regarding the school's bank account going overdrawn.
Although this session is aimed at all finance staff, there will be an expectation that delegates attending will have a basic level of knowledge/understanding of school finance.
