• List at least five characteristics of process addictions
• Identify six common process addictions in young people
• Summarise early warning signs that indicate a developing process addiction
• Explain how safety (seen, soothed, safe, secure) and connection (CHIME model) support recovery
• Reflect on how the meaning behind a behaviour can signal unmet needs rather than "bad choices"
• Consider how judgement-free, trauma-informed approaches help build trust with young people
• Explore personal attitudes and assumptions about social media and other digital behaviours
• Apply trauma-informed principles when discussing potentially addictive behaviours with young people
• Formulate supportive strategies that promote healthy coping, self-regulation, and connection
