We are excited to be offering two routes into teaching in partnership with a top-rated provider of the Department for Education's teacher progression pathway, Best Practice Network (BPN). Both options awarding QTS:
- Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship (PGTA)
Ideal for those already working in schools, who have a degree, and is free for the learner. Successful completion of this programme will award Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Level 6 Teacher Apprenticeship Qualification, which will qualify you to teach in all schools in England. - Fee-funded
Designed for graduates who are not currently employed by a school and wish to train as a teacher. This pathway is fee-funded (ie the student pays their tuition fees, often through a student loan, rather than relying on a fully funded scholarship or bursary).
Both programmes offer a range of benefits, including placement experience in our partner schools, the opportunity to apply your learning in practice and full support from BPN tutors and mentors. The curriculum is carefully structured to build on the trainees previous learning and gives access to the latest research and evidence into teacher training.
